Two posts in two days. I know but this one is kind of branching off the other one since it just brought up many more questions for myself.

I was curious about your personal beliefs (whether you are Wiccan or not) especially when it comes to Ethics, Morals, Values, etc.

i suppose that you could say i also follow a "harm none" type of philosophy. i don't believe in doing harm to others when it isn't necessary. obviously, necessary would include things like protecting yourself. unfortunately, the world can be a harmful place

That was excellent! I really enjoy hearing what everyone has to say thats why I post here. I do believe that one of the best ways to help yourself is to help someone else but I also believe in the reverse too, the best way to help anyone else is to help yourself ( be a better person, learn new things).

Being entirely selfless and perfect isn't the goal for me its about constantly learning new things and being open to those things. Living life on the level you feel is best because no one but you can really know when you don't live up to that level. ( I mean other than God/ess etc)

you are very right about helping others by helping yourself. i, obviously, would be unfit to do anything for anyone else if my own needs were not being met.

my goal isn't to be selfless, it's to strive to be a little better everyday. i don't think i could stop learning new things if i tried, i guess i'm just hard-wired that way. what i try to do is apply the things i learn. really, what good is knowledge if it's not being used? knowledge in action: i don't use the heat drying option on my dishwasher, i only run a full dishwasher, i wash my clothes in cold water. it's amazing what little things can do.
