Charm 1.8.0

I should probably have released a new version of Charm years ago, since I added MetaWeb API support almost immediately after the release of 1.7.0. I'm finally doing it now.

The FreeBSD port maintainer has indeed noticed, but if the 1.8.1 version is coming in a few days I'll hold off until it's ready to go. :)

Hi,

I was just looking at the sf.net page, and there are two bugs that have been open for a while. Are those still actually open, or has the page just not been updated?

I can't replicate the python2.4 one on python2.5, which is why I ask.

Seriously good news with the wordpress support. Excellent news. I have a program that depended on Charm which has lain dormant since I abandoned LJ. This will be dead handy, thank you!
