Context here is severely lacking, but all the same that statement is completely contrary to the underpinning ideas and law behind our democratic system of a Representative Republic, of by and for the people. Frankly, rpeate, this statement in the way it is presented does not come across particularly positively for your position even though I understand it.

(I might point out that you're seriously in danger of circular logic fail.)

My personal responsibility is exercised at the ballot box to get rid of those lawmakers that impose the unnecessary and oppressive taxes and try to direct my life.

I've looked at your user info and I now realize that you may be living under a government of which the people may actually look to for 'cradle to grave' services from the government to live their lives.

That type of system is one we fight against at every election here.
