initial entry / explanation of the comm / call for applicants

It's not my intent to compete with LJI, nor is this a joke.
Instead, it's my hope to create a fun sideshow for Idol junkies.
In a couple weeks, Haiku Idol takes off, and Season One begins.
Basically, this is just like LJ Idol, but written in haiku.
If you'd like to join ljhaikuidol now, please go right ahead.
Those of you who wish to compete as haiku-ists, comment in this thread.
We'll be taking apps from contestant-candidates 'til November ends.
