No to be outdone, here's s band I stumbled across five years ago who are, surprisingly, a new progressive rock band that debuted in the 90's. Surprising, because I thought the younger folks thought prog-rock was for geezers.

So here is Porcupine Tree with "Radioactive Toy":

I think people wander to ProgRock whenever the pop stuff gets too formulaic for the more cerebral folk.
