Is LiveJournal Dead?

So IS LiveJournal dead? Or was there some mass agreement I missed in June to sign off? Or has Facebook simply killed it? That last one see,s very All I know is that none of my LJ Friends - not one! - has made an entry since early July. After that is nothing but silence. This has the wierd effect that my Frimeds page is BLANK. I guess it show only

I'm around and I read. I'm just not very good about posting. I keep meaning to post and then not actually doing so.

Still, posting stuff here means I'm much more likely to see it than on facebook or google+ where whether I see it or not is pretty hit or miss if I'm not tagged.

The answer to my question is "no". Like me, LJ just dozes off occasionally. ;-)
