I rather love that you put Kenya and PNG in there and He spent a little bit of time in Papua New Guinea with his father as a child, but for the most part grew up in boarding school in Manchester - change gender and where the boarding school is and that'd be my mum and her siblings. :D

I *had* to put it in Wales. ;) Even though it made it a little harder to explain why they were all there.

I actually had a little difficulty finding pictures of Alan Rickman that *looked* old.

Casting was pretty much me writing down every British (and some American) actor I loved and then seeing how I could work them in. ;)

Hee! I put the boarding school in Manchester to explain his accent. Not sure exactly why I chose PNG but my dad travels there a lot and it seemed suitably remote...

Yeah, my parents were missionaries (and still are, really). I never went to boarding school but I knew a lot of people who did.

It is pretty cool to see how people bring themselves into these things, without even meaning to sometimes. I guess you write what you know?
