So I threw away all of my quarks and I think the leptons will go down the same way. Most of the properties are fixed so I can get them out of a table, creating just 'a quark' and passing the requested type as a parameter. It makes life easier, certainly when 'a quark' can suddenly become 'another quark'.
Since I didn't understand the concept of color in quarks, I neglected it, too long it seems. Also my CGluon is wrong. There is not 'a gluon' keeping a baryon together, according to some reading there are as much as 8 gluons passed in between the quarks of a baryon. Quarks which all have a different color apparently, and so do the Gluons. Which means CGluon needs redesign, as well as CQuark for connections and CHadron for containment of Gluons. I'll need to throw away my earlier mentioned sorting algorithm too, since a down down up particle is called a neutron, but an up down down particle is called a Delta particle. Delta and Omega particles have a different spin than the neutrons, but I'm still ignoring spin right now. Better check upon that too.
In other news I cleaned my desk and started a binder to keep all my physics papers together so they don't get lost in the usual mess which is my desk. At least mess can be piled up to reduce the mass... or something.
Anyway, my mentor is not in today, so I'll leave you with some pictures of him:
I found three little corydora's in the tank this morning, and there are fresh eggs on the walls. The guppy's are growing up fast, and soon their little brothers and sisters will too, and there will be more brothers and sisters coming.
