Bad news.

My mother just called to let me know my sister was in the hospital. Apparently she was six weeks pregnant but the baby wasn't growing in the uterus so she'll need to have it removed. It was her first pregnancy and she'd been trying for a while. Hopefully they will be able to salvage her ovaries so she'll be able to get pregnant again

They had to remove one of her fallopian tubes, but she still has the other one so in theory it might still work, in practice, the chance of getting pregnant has just been reduced with 50%

She just arrived home around noon. They performed surgery on her yesterday. Thanks for your concearn.

Ze is een eileider kwijt, maar de andere is er nog. 't is dus nog geen ganse ramp, maar het zal alles wel weer wat moeilijker maken.
