Are any of you doing the advertising in your journal for $$? How's it going?

Seems like a no-brainer, except that I have to re-up a paid account first.

If you do, do you find yourself making more public entries, trying to get a bigger audience?

I have a paid account just to avoid advertising and wouldn't want to subject any of my readers to that.

I use Ad Block Plus as well because I hate ads. I wouldn't want to lose readers on my LJ for a few dollars.

same here, I thought it was a liberty putting advertising up when most of my posts were friends locked, it would be trying to push stuff on my friends list.

I could care less who reads my journal. It's just there for me to bitch and rant in when I'm having a bad day, or feel the need to just write. So, no, I am not doing the advertising thing.
