I've been on Livejournal for about 10 years, though I haven't posted a whole lot lately...primarily because I don't really have many friends on there. I used to be super active and loved LJ so much but FB killed my LJ, seems like all my friends went over

You sound like the kind of person I'd like to get to know. I'm 37 and the mother of a 14-year-old and a nine-year-old. I'm definitely liberal as well, but I generally don't talk about politics. I also rarely talk about religion. I studied journalism in school, just before all the newspapers went away, and now I only write for magazines here and there. I've been out of regular work over three years, and I do several things to make money. At the moment, I am starting a personal assistant service. Right now, it's just me, but I hope to eventually have a few employees. I post several times a week, sometimes more than once a day. I hope you'll find me interesting.

Hi there! I am 42 (wow, and when did that happen? EEP!) and the mother of 5 year old boy/girl twins. I stay at home with them, but my background is education. I lean left, politically, but also don't write much about that here. I have been here in LJ for about a decade now. I am not as active as I was in the past, but I am always here.

Added ya, I'm sort of in the same place with not having made many entries lately but am wanting to. I'm a 35 year old SAHM of a 10 year old boy, 8 year old girl and 9 month old girl.
