As a reminder of this are. You head north a bit and then you see the corridor can continue north or it turns west.
To the west the hall continues on a short way and then comes to a T. To the North, the hall continues a little farther, and then all comes to a T. (this is all on the map).
Right, I see it on the map. I will continue to the north, to the east-west hall. I will go east, to the door on the northern wall. If it's open, I will look inside.

Anyway, if I can get off a Bless before the current round I do so, otherwise I attack the nearest small flying batlike creature with my morningstar (assuming I make my Fortitude save against the stench).
