Glancing around the room, you see that the other door in the hallway also leads into this same room and is also open. There is also another open door on the north wall.

"AGH!"
I promptly adjust my nice-smelling hanky over my face, and start strumming away at my mandolin, attempting to warn everyone.
I said the little leatherwing bat I'll tell to you the reason that The reason that I fly by night Is because I've lost my heart's delight.
I can see your heart is tired And your courage has worn thin You wonder how long you will have to hang on But when My love comes in, you'll be strong again!
Inspire Courage!"
I'll also maneuver however I can to give the bruisers enough room to get in there at the bat-things.
...Uh, just how many of these bat-things are we talking about? Here's a few identification rolls, too:
(Move action) - put away mandolin awkwardly (Move action) - draw crossbow (Free action) - five-foot-step to get more out of the way of the mosquitoes, preferably putting someone between them and me
Seeing Talbot's movements out of the corner of his eye, Lugh quietly says, "Remember, we are bait! Get ready to run back to the others! If they don't attack soon, shoot at them and then run!"
Lugh will wait to see if the bats attack. If they do, and if Talbot runs, he will run back down the hall, bellowing at the others to be ready. If Talbot doesn't run, Lugh will stand and fight. If they don't attack, he'll wait out this round to see what they do and try to get a count of them.

Talbot however, does see the creatures, and is so startled, he almost drops the cloth from his face.
Sorry about the delay, I was trying to give some of your party members to come to your rescue.

Btw, how are you, holding the hanky on your face and strumming your mandolin? :)

"Thanks for the inspiring song, Talbot, but there's nothing here."

"I don't much like the sound of being bait, Sir Lugh..."

Viktor is just coming in the doorway.
Everyone else remains oblivious.

Well, seeing as Talbot and Jug'Jug are already here, and Viktor is on the way, I guess running back to the others won't do any good at this point.
I'll work on attempting to ply one off, dropping my shield so that my hand is free.
Strength, yes?
