If eyes were really the window to the soul, Mary-Lynnette had pondered once, than Ash’s didn’t give much insight into his. Other than, of course, that he was a very complicated man (or, technically, vampire), but that was hardly a surprise. After all, his eyes changed color with the lighting. There wasn’t actually a color that she couldn’t remember, at one point, looking back at her. Mary-Lynette had only pondered this for seconds; Jeremy’s eyes had been a warm, chocolate-y brown. Neither words come close to describing a psychotic, murdering werewolf.
