Summary: Vampires were much better dancers than werewolves.
Mary-Lynnette hadn’t wanted to take ballroom dancing classes in eighth grade. No, she - as well as nearly three quarters of her grade - hadn’t had a choice. She had shown up at the community center, frowning, in her elegant (and required) white gloves. Frowning, that is, until Jeremy’s handsome brown eyes had met hers from across the room. Looking back, Mary-Lynnette realized that he hadn’t actually had to be there; no one had been forcing him. Looking back, Mary-Lynnette also remembered ranting to him about the pointlessness of the class while he had been fixing her dad’s old car.
When he asked her if she wanted to dance, suddenly, class hadn’t seemed so bad (that was before she discovered that Jeremy had very large and clumsy feet). After that, Mary-Lynnette had sworn that she would never dance again… It wasn’t until many years later that Mary-Lynnette discovered. that vampires were much better dancers than werewolves.
