Journal Help!

So lastnight I changed my journal layout and played around with the CSS to customize it. Throughout the process, I kept checking how my journal looked in a new tab, and everything was going pretty smoothly (for someone new to CSS :P). I have the same problem now...
Could someone tell you why the new layout wouldn't show up when you viewed it as a non-LJ user? Any tips?^^

Hey there!

Custom layout changes may not necessarily be built into our Varnish purging system. If you ever encounter an issue where something doesn't show up -- post a new entry (you can delete it after if you want to).

A new entry post will always clear out the cache and cause everything to be refreshed for logged-out users. In the meantime we'll try to figure out a more elegant fix for the problem.

This didn't work for me. In fact the newly posted message did not show either if I am not logged in (if I am logged in I can see everything perfectly.) Any suggestions?

This didn't work for me either, and I was switching between existing journal styles.
