My husband Michael Merriam (mmerriam) got into MN Fringe Festival off the wait list. We found out Monday! His first performance is Saturday!

Since we didn't have the months of marketing time that most productions had, and he is not listed in the printed program, we are working very hard to get the word out. Please share this with folks.

Are there any good places to hike and camp within, say 30 miles of the Metro? Hiking is more important than the camping.

When I was a kid growing up in New York, Japanese parasols were ubiquitous.  They had bamboo handles and were made of heavily shellacked paper and had a strong shellac smell.  Is there anywhere around here to get a parasol?  It doesn't have to be Japanese or paper or shellacked but I'd prefer something that is not nylon-ish like an umbrella ( Read more... )

Hi! I have been looking for apartments but I'm not sure exactly where to look for these apartments, I will be working near 494 and County Road 6. Tonight's show at 1st Ave was cancelled with a redo on June 22nd. Unfortunately I cannot make that date. Up for sale is 1 pair of tix with a face value of $27.50 each + fees. We paid 219.00 for the pair through a broker. We just want what we paid. Craig's List had them selling for much more than that. I don't feel the need to be that cruel ( Read more... )
