ljvotes does not deny that it is possible for users with multiple journals registered to different validated email addresses to vote multiple times, just that LiveJournal is trying its best to keep the percentage of users who do vote multiple times tiny and that there might be other procedures that LiveJournal will be - is - practicing to ensure that each user is only allowed one vote that they have not yet disclosed.

ljvotes would recommend that if any users are concerned about this issue or the election process to contact LiveJournal directly via feedback@livejournal.com.

PS: Who is running this community? Especially in an election, transparency is key. Would you please identify yourself?

ljvotes respects your wish for transparency, but in order to maintain the neutral and unbiased stance of ljvotes (as well as ensuring our privacy), it is our belief that anonymity of ljvotes must be maintained.

As another candidate, I tend to agree with cambler that the use of faux or duplicate accounts has the potential to completely unbalance the election. I'm staying in and continuing my candidacy on principle. I believe that otherelse, we merely give the cheaters the election. Hopefully enough people see the "serious candidates" and will make a statement in voting even in some small way.
