That's okay. The user would just need to delete the text, and re-press the macro combination to reinsert with new level?
The reason I ask this is because it make it easier for some people with different filters to just auto-detect group's and paste it either in the title, or body of text within the entry.. Thus in the future from a journal owners perspective, you know exactly what filter a entry is in by reading the text enclosed, instead of clicking edit entry to check what the level entry was originally posted in.
I have downloaded the newest version. I cannot get it to alert me when there are updates on my friends page. I have all the settings checked in options. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Sorry, I had no idea being a paid or unpaid user of LJ had anything to do with the semagic program. Could you direct me to where it states this? I feel really stupid.
Did you know that semagic is on the list of things known to be broken in windows xp sp2? They tested an older version though, 1.3.9.6. Cool thing is they (or someone) actually tested it!

Second question: Is there a way to create a macro that auto-detects current Semagic entry "Security Level" and places it on the entry?
So the end product is something like "Filtered to and viewable by [friends-group-name]" showing up as text within the entry when the macro is pressed?
