Now you can load DW friends in Semagic. Please report if something does not work.

One problem with friends is that it looks like nobody was using XML-RPC API methods for DW friends since the time when it was made 10 years ago so did not notice and report that it contains errors, e.g. group bit is not returned from server for groups so that groups ( Read more... )

Thanks! Main reason I needed it was so I didn't goof up the references to friends in posts. So it'll work fine for that.

Есть проблема с авторизацией на Фликр. Точнее не авторизуется. Access denied. Хотя login в Flickr активен.
У меня default browser Firefox, но Semagic пользуется Edge. Это не проблема, но непонятно.

В предыдущей записи написано, что авторизация в flickr перестала работать, работает только если у Вас есть сохраненная авторизация, а новая без переделки программы не будет работать.

Понятно. Буду ждать апдейта тогда.
Конечно, очень хочется чтобы при создании поста можно было получать из фликра ссылки на фото (которые static) из своего аккаунта. После исчезновения сервиса photo2blog такой функции очень не хватает если надо выбрать и запостить много фото сразу.

As written 2 entries back here,
A note to Dreamwidth users: now you get "Invalid password" error. You have to generate API key in the DW settings (mobile/advanced setup options page) and use it as password in Semagic.

Hey, I've noticed that in just this past couple of weeks, Semagic has started behaving weirdly. When I preview posts, nothing comes up and then it also fails to post, too. New userpics and friends all update as expected. Any idea what's happening?

Preview uses embedded Internet Explorer window. If something is wrong with it, it will behave differently. Try to clear IE cache. Also you can uncheck option to not save tmp file to disk in Semagic Options/Editor.
