Ya! not exactly the sight I wanted to be greeted with after a long flight, but thank goodness it's mostly all sorted out now. And That seriously seems to be the case! You either hear landlord horror stories, or they are the nicest people. It doesn't make any sense!! I would be totally fine with just an average, boring, normal landlord. lol

I know exactly what you mean! My sisters landlord brought her and all her roommates chocolate and a mini Christmas tree for their place, and then mine wont even fix anything >.

I've been looking around a bit. There is is a chance that I will be able to move in with a couple girls I know from school at the end of the month, and if that falls through, then I might just put a down payment on a one bedroom place and be super broke for a bit :P It might be worth it after all of this.

Yup, I was born, and live in Sask most of the time, but I'm actually in TO as well, doing school at the moment :D

Ugh, break ins are awful. We had one in our old apartment a month before moving out. I could never feel safe there again...

Definitely understand that feeling. It's just unsettling. The place you live is the place you should feel most comfortable and then when its suddenly not, that's the worst.
