How was Sakura Hime? I've barely bought any manga the past couple of years but I have the first 3 of Sakura Hime. I just can't decide if I care enough to continue.

I've been realizing I love Arina Tanemura's artwork but her stories frequently fall just a bit short for me. I still love Full Moon and I'm keeping Gentleman's Alliance for now (see - I like it but I don't all at once). But I've sold or am currently attempting to sell the rest on ebay. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/191525178248?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) I just came to the realization I never reread them and I've been trying to downsize my collection just a smidge.

I feel exactly the same way about Tanemura. Love her art. So-so on her stories. About Sakura Hime. I have the whole series. 12 Volumes. I've read 11 of them. But I don't have any strong compulsion to finish the series. There's always something better. That said; Sakura Hime is probably my favorite of her longer series. And the only one I've come this close to finishing. So I probably will finish it someday. Would I recommend that you continue it? If you're downsizing, I'd say no. There's probably always going to be something better for you too.

I'm downsizing in a different way. I'm reading (nearly) all digital when it's available. I can fit a lot more books on my Nook than I can on my bookshelf. LOL

Maybe I'll see of my library has it. Or just google the story so at least I know what happens. ;)

I know what you mean about downsizing by going digital. Part of getting my nook was a deal I made with hubby to only buy physical books if I really, really wanted a hard copy. Otherwise digital only please. He was tired of breaking his back hauling them everytime we moved. But I enter *a lot* of giveaways (and win quite a few) and those are 90% physical copies so I still get a book in the mail every few weeks. But I didn't spend any money on them so he can't complain as much as he'd like!

I also have a system now where every book I am even slightly interested in gets saved into an Amazon wishlist that I monitor using ereaderiq.com. So many of them are free once or twice a year so ereaderiq alerts me when the price drops to $0 and I snatch them up. Now I just need time to read them all. ;)
