He still speaks to me at practice. I am happy for him getting the job whatever it is. I never would have expected him to ever pay me back. It was just to give him a kick in the butt to try to get a job, and not stop until he does. I am curious what job he has now. He may not respond to my LJ entries anymore, I am sure he does read them still, but I will continue to encourage him to take care of himself as he had done for me many times.

Um, dude... he's already told you to quit trying to contact him. I really think you should let sleeping dogs lie already and leave the kid alone.
