Quick Akabane sketch

Meh... Was thinking about drawing some quick B&W pics of GB charas to decorate my site. Akabane was the first - and probably will be the most difficult to render because he's so dark! No, I mean, his clothes, his hat, his hair, all black! XD

This is just a sketch... I still have some pics to finish before start working on this one.

Good Rendering! Don't worry bout the mistakes, when you're coloring it, it won't matter cuz you get to cover it up anyway.

A little coloring tip, since Dr. J is all black; use a grayish-black as base then you can use pure black for shadow and silvery gray for highlight for that shiny finish! Just mess around with the tone and you'll see you can get very different results.

Your b-day's near? Would a sketch of a very sexy almost NSFW Ban would do as present? :P

He's terrible to colour when you're only using B&W. SO MUCH BLACK... But when I'm colouring on the computer, or using tones, I find him to actually be on the easier side, since I don't really have to think about colour. BUt yeah, black and white, it's basically like, "do I want to colour his clothes black...? Or leave them white...?

LOL yeah! Blackitty, blackitty, black! XD A friend of mine told me once "dunno why you find it so difficult... you just have to invert what you do with other colors" Well, I happen to suck at inverting things - maybe there's something wrong with mah brains... XD

Fun with black - the only reason I do not have more printed-out pictures of our lovely doctor is because doing so would suck up all the ink cartridge from my printer. XD

Omigod!!! I'm exactly the same!!! Can't print out any more Akabane's, cause it really does just use up all the black faster than you can say "psychopath."
