Finally Finished!
I finally finished my '20 Random Facts about Hermione & Cedric'. It is here...below the cut. I had a great Christmas, recieving some computer games, a lot of PS2 games and a few DVDs, including Pirates 2, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, A Walk to Remember & John Tucker Must Die, some books and a new set of pajamas...it was a good Christmas over all. 20 Random Facts about Hermione Granger & Cedric Diggory
1. Cedric Jason Diggory was born on May 10, 1976. Born to Bobby & Eve Diggory, he joined older brother Lucas Michael and 2 years later gained Katherine Melanie as a sister.
2. Hermione Jane Granger was born on January 28, 1978 to Mark & Morgan Granger. She is an only child, but has always wished for a brother or sister.
3. The first time Hermione noticed Cedric is because during her first week at Hogwarts, she got lost trying to get back to Gryffindor Tower. She stumbled onto the Quidditch pitch, where the Hufflepuff team was practicing. She noticed him, and couldn’t stop watching. When practice was over, he came down and offered to escort her back to Gryffindor Tower. They made small talk on the way back, and she thanked him for helping her. She said it was no trouble.
4. The first time Cedric noticed Hermione was at her sorting. He always liked watching the first years, and his attention was grabbed by the girl with the bushy hair who wouldn’t stop talking.
5. Hermione’s first crush was Harry Potter. Because he is the Boy-Who-Lived, and she was in awe of him. She later found that she enjoyed being his friend more.
6. They kept in touch by owl the summer after her first year. The next year, they agreed to be study partners, but Hermione didn’t tell anyone about this arrangement.
7. They would always tease each other good-naturedly in the library, and that led to their first kiss, when he was in 5th year and she in 3rd year. She was reaching for a high book, and after getting it, she accidentally knocked him down. They both went quiet, and they kissed after that.
8. Hermione insisted on secrecy for their relationship, because she wasn’t sure how Harry & Ron would react. That is why they didn’t go to the Yule Ball together the next year.
9. They did however, meet outside during the Yule Ball, and danced to a slow song on the grounds, where no one could see them.
10. Cedric proposed to Hermione after her graduation from Hogwarts. She was shocked but happy and immediately accepted, but then had to explain to everyone else, since nobody else had known they were even going out.
11. They got married as soon after the Second War was over. It was on a beach, with Ginny, Hannah, Fleur, Luna & Gabrielle as her bridesmaids. Cedric’s groomsmen were Ron, Neville, Fred, George & Percy (who had been forgiven by his family). The whole Gryffindor Quidditch team, including Angelina, Alicia, Katie & Oliver were able to come.
12. Because Hermione’s parents had been killed during the war, she had Harry escort her down the aisle. Harry knew he was doing the right thing, but Hermione couldn’t stop crying.
13. Hermione was a virgin when they got married, because that was what she had promised herself when she was a little girl.
14. They had their honeymoon in the United States, Disney World to be exact. Cedric had been there as a child, and wanted to share its wonders with Hermione. She was fascinated by it, and loved the characters (Cedric always says he doesn’t know a wizard or muggle that doesn’t like Mickey Mouse).
15. They lived in a big house out in the country, a sprawling manor because they would need room for their children.
16. Their first children were a set of twins, Summer Chloe & Clark Jacob. The twins were born at 33 weeks, and were thankfully very healthy for being born prematurely. Summer is 3 minutes older than Clark. Summer looks like her mother but with her father’s eyes, while Clark looks like a copy of his father. They both have their mother’s studiousness, but love adventures. The 3rd child was a boy named Daniel John, born a year after the twins. He’s a cross between the two, with Cedric’s height, and Hermione’s hair. He loves Quidditch, but still manages near-perfect marks. The 4th is a girl named Madison Betsy, born 2 years after Daniel. She looks like Cedric, but has her mother’s eyes. She’s a bit of a tomboy, but doesn’t enjoy Quidditch. She also is as stubborn as her mother. The youngest children are another set of twins, Ryan Carter & Kaitlin Ashley, born a year after Madison. Ryan is 6 minutes than Kaitlin, and never lets his sister forget it. Ryan looks like exactly like his mother and extremely stubborn, but loves to read. Kaitlin also looks like her mother, but is almost as tall as her father. She loves Quidditch as much as her father, and loves books. All of the children were sorted into Gryffindor, and they get along very well, always protective of their siblings. Summer is the good girl, Clark is the reckless one, Daniel is the all-around one, Madison is the tomboy, Ryan is the bookworm and Kaitlin is the princess.
17. One of the traditions is that Cedric & Hermione always try to take their children to Disney World once a year. They like exposing their children to muggles, to gain a better understanding of the non-magical world. The children, like their parents, can’t resist Mickey Mouse.
18. Sometimes Hermione & Cedric go out on group dates with Harry & Luna, Susan & Ron, Ginny & Neville and Draco & Pansy. They all have much fun, with lots of laughter.
19. Cedric likes it when Hermione tries to make him breakfast when he’s sick. She isn’t a very good cook, but she tries her best and he appreciates this.
20. Even though neither Cedric & Hermione are a Weasley, Mrs. Weasley has made them feel like they are, and they enjoy visiting the family.
21. Cedric died a few days after Hermione did (they were both very old), proving that they didn’t want to be apart for too long, even in death. His children always said he died of a broken heart.
