I haven't written in a while, for myself or for work. It's a rut of non-creativity. I blame the darkness and cold of winter. When I get home from work I just want to sit and play Xbox or watch TV. Drive-by Update
Had a nice little trip to the in-laws in Mitchell, Indiana and attended the Bedford Little Theater and saw the FIL as Mr. Gower/Mr. Potter in a stage performance of It's A Wonderful Life. Community theater is really cool. Photos (though none of the performance) to come soon ( Read more... ) -

Attended my second Dr. Sketchy's event at East Village. It was cold outside and mellow inside.

Macro
I experimented with extreme closeup macro photography. I used a technique called reverse lens where you remove your lens, flip it around and hold it in place against your camera. It was challenging because the only way to focus is to move the camera closer or further away from the subject. The depth of field of only a centimeter was a challenge to ( Read more... ) -

My Niece
Kids grow up so fast. It didn't seem that long ago that my sister and her hubby adopted an adorable little girl. It's coming up on her third birthday in a few months. I visited with them this past weekend and took some photos.

Trauma
Just got back from shooting Trauma, the annual Halloween/Fetish ball here in town. It was a blast! BoMA is a huge venue with plenty of space for all the freaks (of which I count myself as a member). There were so many interesting and friendly people doing all sorts of things I can only begin to describe.
