want any help? i went to film school and did this every fucking day. i would not recommend using a movie you actually love, but you can still do it without it killing your soul. let me know love, i'll rent it asap and watch it if you need the help. <333333

oh, i love film analysis! i took it last summer. and, guess what movie i wrote my final paper about? LEON!!! i noticed so many things about that movie while having to take notes on it. if i remember correctly, my thesis had to do with the hallways used in the movie and how they represent control.

See, that's way too advanced for me. I just can't... See, I'm a fairly smart girl, but I just don't think that way when it comes to movies. My brain is wired for completely immersing myself in and enjoying them, not analyzing them.

For instance... We're watching Stagecoach in class right now. We were also given a list of techniques and the like to look for while we were watching it. I had a damn list in front of me, I knew I was supposed to pay attention to things other than the actual story... And I got sucked in and enjoyed the damn thing.

Uggh. I wish I was better at this.
