i can kind of relate to what your saying, since i'm working with about the same age group (but a little older) and it's those defiant kids who end up being placed in our facilities. definitely understand about the manipulation...i mean, we use behavioral therapy so our teaching model all about manipulation. also defintely agree about career taking up your life. living on the same campus where i work with all the people i work with can be overwhelming...i've called our internship eat sleep live breathe RISE, and it sounds like tfa is something of the same. however, it sounds like you are really learning a lot and making progress with your kiddies so that's so exciting! i hope everything else is going well with you, sorry i've been so bad at keeping touch. are you going to be in MI at all around xmas?
