You know the term "fuckin' a"? I used to think it was so goofy when I was younger. Why would you abbreviate the lesser of the two swear words and keep the really bad one intact? haha, it's kinda like when they bleep "hole" if the word "asshole" is said in the movies they show on tnt... I mean, why bother, they've already said "ass"...

but I do agree, I don't think the "a" of "fuckin' a" stands for "asshole".

the reason they do that is because ass isn't an offenseive word in itself. it means donkey. fun fact: jackass will be bleeped partially but only in certain contexts. also, in god damn (if censored) they bleep god.
