I'm always tempted to get bizarre combinations of items just to make them think weird things.

Need condoms and lube? Might as well pick up a cucumber for my salad.

One time I bought lube and batteries, because both were needed, but not for anything related to each other, and didn't realize what I was doing until I checked out. And then thought all I really needed was a cucumber or a banana in my basket as well.

But it does make me wonder what odd combinations people come up with.

I can pretty much guarantee that the as soon as you were out of the building, the cashier started cracking up. I know I do when stuff like that happens. Lube and batteries or condoms and batteries are a couple of my favorite combinations. Also common with either lube or condoms: gum, chocolate, and razors. Though I don't work in a grocery store, so no fruit related sex jokes, sadly.

I think one of the weirdest combos I've gotten was a box of condoms and a Mother's Day card. I seriously gave the guy a look like O_o.
