If you *don't* write a book about all this, you will be committing a CRIME against art. :)))
Maybe he was homeless? The homeless people in my town are fairly passable (for the most part) and they can't stay in the shelters during the day. If the library kicks them out or they can't find a tolerant hangout, they spend the day riding buses to kill time.
I did wonder if he was homeless. If he is, he's not one of the few regulars I see along that main street. Could be new or could be changing his routine. His sweater was very bright purple and weird-looking, but also clean-looking. And he sat next to me on the bus and re-assumed his face-covered slump, and I did not notice any any strong boozy smells... which I was sort of anticipating because of the quality of the slump.
I don't know.
I have a few more bus stories that I've been saving up. I need to write them up sometime, too.
I need to come up with a plot or a way to package my bus stories.

You're honoured!
I second the idea of a book. Or at least a very awesome Fatone family AU.
