It is pretty fun and easier than I expected.

The green tea ice cream was delicious, only it called for an awful lot of matcha. I had top quality matcha that was about $25/oz... and 3 TBSP of matcha turned out to be almost the whole ounce. O_O Pricey! It was a pretty small batch of ice cream, too.

But I'm going to try again with culinary grade matcha and see if it's still super nummy.

I got a pretty red Cuisinart one.

They sure are a lot different than the one my dad had back in the day, that you had to add ice and salt to the big outer bucket part.
