I am brand-loyal to Asics GT series of running shoes. I do not run, but I fell in love with the first pair I bought several years ago. My feet blister very easily and those shoes never gave me a problem, no matter how much I walked in them

Smart shoes. Undoubtedly why they've won your loyalty. With respect to the shoe thing, I've only recently gotten into the buying at full price if necessary thing, but it probably is worth it.
