in my opinion, terry schiavo should be killed. she isnt living, and her parents are just being total douche bags about the whole thing. they dont have their daughter anymore, SHE IS NOT ALIVE.

That's like saying that people on life sentence in prison should be killed.

Their parents don't have their children anymore.

Terry Scahivo should be kept alive. She is still alive. The feeding tube, food and water, is all she needs to stay alive, her body is doing all its other necessary functions normally. Her parents know this, and I wouldn't want my daughter if I had one to willingly be killed when she can be kept alive. Imagine a family member in the same condition as Terry. What would you want for him/her? I'd do exactly what her parents are doing. Yes, it's no quality of life, but it's life nonetheless. The tube should be put back in. I know not a lot of people agree with me, but this is what I think :)

moron, shes not alive shes only breatheing eating and functioning becuase of machines, if she wasnt sedated out of her mind, she would want to die, and we shoul;d let her husband get on with his life, he shouldnt be dragged down with her

Her cerbral cortex is gone. Its a hole. Its filled with spinal fluid. Even if she could be brought back, she would be vegetable, incable of anything. And thats just the medical part. Her husband had every right to remove the feeding tube. According to four witnesses, she said she didnt want to be left alive, if she were in such a state. Congress has no right to intervene, especially after every court the case has been brought to sided with the husband.

Terry Schiavo should not have been taking off the feeding tube however she should have never been put on it. Taking her off the feeding tube is starving her to death which is a slow and painful death. How would you like to be starved to death and die a slow painful death?? Huh?? Then why should it be done to Terry Schiavo

i believe that, because of the state she is in, the way that she would starve to death is different from the way someone else would starve to death.

i think that it is none of bush's (either of them)promblem to try to fix. this woman has been on a feeding tube for over 15 years. nearly most of our lifetimes. if she is in such great pain and there is nearly no chance of her returning to normality, take the poor lady off the feeding tube and let her die. i dont mean to sound mean, but the woman is in pain and her husband, who loves her, wants to end her pain. and he should. do the parents even pay her medical bills??

The state of Florida pays Terry Schiavo's medical bills.

Feeding tube take out is more painful. You slowly starve someone to death, giving them no food or water.
I'd suggest getting Dr. Kevorkian, but you can't really do consent...
