Good things come to those who wait... after bemoaning the fact that Blue October (US) never gig round the UK, usually only slipping in one performance in London, it seems that this year they are daring to try out a small tour here in the autumn. For some reason, I always thought Blue October was a European band we had stolen. He certainly doesn't seem like a Texan, in any case.

I'd love to see them T^T

Ha ha no, the UK Blue October are a whole other kettle of electro-synth fish XD

As far as I know they're all Texan bar the bassist, who is from Michigan. That said, the violinist is classically trained and the guitarist has a psychology degree and was 9 hours off an MBA when he ran off to join the band. SO yes, not your average prog-metal-rock band XD

I checked their Wikipedia page, yes, but it certainly surprised me. The eye makeup threw me, I was under the Marshallesque impression that they shoot you for that in Texas.

I think it depends where you're FROM in Texas. I mean, I know some very artsy folks down there/from down there... maybe it's a college town thing?
