Sorry about that. My last post here was somewhat hysterical, I know. Things worked out somehow. Phonecalls were made and letters written and our clearances went through on time. I had the trip-from-hell getting to Salisbury though; you can read about it here. But I went over a day early so I had plenty of time in spite of the difficulties

Corner office -- that's very nice. :)

:) The windows are just normal, not big--this isn't a modern building. But despite the dirty carpet and a gash in one wall I'm enjoying the new office. I have my desk at an angle in the southeast corner so by turning my head to the left I can look out to the south, and by turning my head to the right I can look out to the east.

I really, really don't understand people who keep their blinds closed all the time. The guy who moved into my old office closed the blinds and it looks like a cave now.

what a miserable night you spent trying to get to salisbury! that was so amazing to read, as i could just imagine how everything was happening. made me wish you'd cross post those entries to here :)

I suppose I could cross-post everything to here, yeah. I've been blogging over there when stuff is suitable for the public and blogging over here when I want to flock something, but yeah, I could get in the habit of cross-posting.
