Some general likes/dislikes: Any rating is absolutely fine by me, whatever you feel comfortable writing. I don't want any noncon, character death or general misery. AUs fascinate me, be they altering the setting aus or altering events. I love unusual story formats, epistolary fiction, non-linear narratives and unreliable narrators. That made me SO ANGRY! I mean, okay, servants didn't have the rights that they should have, and abuses of power happened and that was a horrible part of the master/servant relationship, but would a woman in a precarious position, a WAR WIDOW, who needed to support her SON, have thrown herself to that degree at him? Plus, she wasn't developed. We saw nothing of her working, or relaxing, or any of her home life. It was RUBBISH, seeing her only as Robert's crowbarred-in love interest. GAH.

I certainly got the "everyone is so busy Doing Stuff that I am left out" Robert-arc - if they had followed up more on the "no no you're just a figurehead we don't actually want or need you to DO anything" from earlier in the season. And I can actually see some interest building on his side from the "Jane is interested in me as a person when my daughters and wife have no time for me" but her throwing herself at him was ICKY, and as you say, we didn't know enough about her to know if that was something she would do. I might have preferred another titled (widowed?) lady trying to move on him instead...
