I love this so hard. Like, I'm running out of words here. This is stunning and gorgeous and every other adjective that means I am so totally in awe of you. I could quite honestly quote back almost every line and tell you why it's so YES. I'll uh, try to keep it brief and coherent.

These guys, these guys, these guys. I love these guys. The four of them each adapting to this new world in their own way. “Dining like kings tonight, fuckers,” he tells them. He sounds too fucking cheerful. Apocalypses suit him. Exactly. Day to day survival is an atmosphere that Pipe would so excell in because that's what he's always done. Just now there is a rocket launcher.

Everything. Quantifying what has been lost isn’t something he could ever do, could ever be capable of. He just tips his head back and howls, and it’s enough, for now. Joe, Joe, Joe. ♥ The whole show for nobody is just such a perfect image. Because dammit they're a band, it's what they do and even when the world ends and the wolves come they're still going to feed off that ( ... )

it's a tangle of emotion and of awe at how beautifully done this is, and how you've captured THEM even tho the entire world is different.

i...i...i love this, i guess that's all i can say.

Oh, wow. I loved this:

They’re chasing after things that don’t happen anymore, wanting the same annoyances as before, the same mundane realities of life on tour, a claustrophobic, itchy existence hammered out on sawdust with the smell of beer and the throb of the amp. They travel to battlefields that no longer exist and fling themselves against nothing.

Also the wolves at the end.
