To Press Charges or To Not Press Charges

May 05, 2007 19:57

This morning at 6:20 am a car in my driveway backed into mine. She left without informing the owner of the vehicle of the incident, thus not exchanging information that is required by State Law. By text book definition this is known as a "Hit and Run." Should I or should I not press charges?

if you witnessed and/or know definately who did it and there is a decent amount of damage to the car i would definately say something. however, if you dont know for sure or there isnt alot of damage i wouldnt bother... but then again, i'm not a lawyer...
