what the fuck did I just watch?

Troy's side was much better. But I wanted to flip over to the CW and watch the *Vampire Diaries* than sit through the transphobia of this episode. Don't even get me started on the gay community being "othered" repeatedly.

Dude, that plot was just cringe-worthy through the entire thing, which I suspected it would be when I saw the title of the ep. I didn't even like the stuff with Pierce's father. The only good thing to come of it was the dean in his non-Tron outfit. Loved Troy's story though (especially Abed being Troy).

Vampire Diaries was super awesome, BTW.

UGH.THANK YOU. I was really disgusted at everyone at community_tv calling it one of their top episodes this season. I went between cringing and getting pissed. Of COURSE the two young men were flamboyant, of COURSE they kept using the "lol tranny" drag queen as a prop the entire episode. It's also been an emotionally draining week and this just really made my temper snap.

I JUST WATCHED. DNW Damon/Elena but I am remembering why I wanted them to be besties in season 1. You know. Before he raped her best friend repeatedly, killed her brother, forced blood down her throat, goes through her drawers, and generally won't stop touching her when she clearly doesn't want to be touched, or guilting her for not loving him. The scene where they were sparring behind Alaric and Damon pretended to bite her, Nina didn't smile or laugh or anything, she was annoyed and shoved him off.

Soooo if Rebekah = Damon, does this mean show will give me Rebekah/Elena?

Oh god, anxiety cat had me laughing uproariously at my own ridiculousness. I related to about 95% of those cats. The pencil sharpening one in particular. And dreading phone calls. And a .50 library fine causing a life crisis (I've done that one several times, actually). DAMN YOU, ANXIETY CAT. Now I am all too self aware. As for the awkward one, this one made me giggle like crazy:

It's either laugh or cry at how accurate Anxiety Cat relates to my life. YES THE PHONE CALLS. I have to change my ring tone a lot because after a certain point I start to dread hearing it and freaking out about wtf the person wants. Idekw. The "EXPECTATION"/"REALITY" ones at awkward get me good too.

Also this has always been me. ALWAYS. SO THIRSTY BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE A PAIN.
