I don't think you need to feel selfish...cause you're definitely not a selfish person. I think you have to worry about different things now, like having a job and going to real school instead of just high school, and there's less time for volunteer type stuff. I mean, the only way adults really do community service is if it's through church or it's a legal punishment...haha. It's just not as easy or as encouraged outside of high school it doesn't seem. But maybe it's just been too long and you've forgotten it can be fun, and you need to do something to remember it. Either way, I don't think you have anything to feel selfish about...so do what you want. :o) I'm glad you felt compelled to write in your journal though and that we've gotten to hang out recently!
