My name is Luna Lovegood, people they don’t usually call me Luna. They think I'm a bit odd so instead of calling me Luna they call me "Loony" Lovegood. I don’t mind it actually.

Here is a picture of me that Colin Creevy took of me, he seemed very fascinated with my hat. (The hat really did make a lion noise)

Its okay Luna, i'm alright about the quidditch camp thing - well i'm not alright but i'll have to be, just means another boring summer ahead.

I love that picture of you in that lion hat - it was fantastic, i was going to say you'd have to make one for me too, but i realised i can't really fly with that on my head, its not really aerodynamic!

Ginny did you know, we both live very close! My summers are always boring too.

you should pop over to the burrow in the summer, its really nice down by the pond when its hot. just owl me about it when we break up for holidays :-)
