I currently have a free LJ account..... since I have a free account, how far back will my journal entries be saved? If so, I obviously need to look at copying and pasting them into a Word program or something and saving them.... I have stuff in here ( Read more... )

oh okay.. cool thanks! :) I'll definately search for a backup utility though.. I would really hate to lose any of my entries.. ahh the risks of keeping an electronic journal.. could be wiped out in a matter of miliseconds.. there is always something to be said for good ol' pencil and paper.. lol

Oh. how much is the sub fee and what benefits do you get?

Paid subscription is $25 US annually. The biggest difference between paid and free is that you can do some major customizing with HTML on a paid account. Here's a link to the differences between the two: http://www.livejournal.com/site/accounts.bml

Thanks Tara.. i'll check that link out. I really don't care much about HTML customizing... I'm actually happy with my simple free account as long as I don't lose my back journal entries.
