Is it weird that the thing that sprang out to me most was Power Point presentation? I guess it makes sense but it seems so strange to me for a kid to do.

I might steal that recipe. Always can go for an interesting mac 'n' cheese and bacon will go over well here (though without the corn. For some reason I have this weird aversion to corn with cheese.)

I know! That was my thought at first, too, but really, it's not that hard of a program and in third grade, they should pick it up easy. But it seemed strange to me, too.

It's quite possible that the teacher(s) for next year have never realized that by making a costume part of the biography assignment that they setting up a situation in which boys will avoid reading about inspiring women. Contact them. Explain your concern. You might succeed in changing things.
