Re: menstrual products, might a Diva cup work? If your flow is super heavy or you're allergic to silicone it's probably a no go, but I've used one for a few years now and like it.

Not to get personal, but I don't suppose you're on the Pill? If so, you can tweak the meds so that your period times out the way you want it to.

I vote for a less strenuous run this weekend - sounds like you put yourself through the wringer last weekend.

Good luck with the job interview - 4 hours, wow! And how did the after-school gig go?

You seem pretty sure about the hubby job so congrats! It's weird out there where sometimes people don't hire overqualified folks (maybe it's the cost?). But since they know your husband this might make sense.

Do the core work! My yoga for arthritis teacher casually mentioned that the balance poses were good for people with arthritis because if they were to almost fall, they'd be more like to catch themselves. (Not the same for you because you were on uneven footing.) But I had never thought of that! I had no idea why we did balance poses. But I do find myself just catching myself when I stumble on steps (always steps) and stuff.

Food for thought. I like your race writeups.

(Agree about tampons. And with heavy flow and/or running quickly I swear those things move. Ugh.)

ETA: I was thinking about suggesting a Diva cup too. If it has a proper suction it won't go anywhere and then no chafing!)
