I feel bad I haven't updated in a long time, but it seems like the world is moving over to Tumblr, and life is just crazy busy. Good, but crazy busy

I wanted to do Naked Barvarian, but I just don't think I can get the 20 together by then! If I could, I could totally do a spring marathon :) Good luck with it though- it will be perfect prep for Big Sur! (If I had such an awesome marathon to do, I would be more inclined to brave the cold!)
I tried Children of Gods, but I think I couldn't get too far because I didn't like how they used Zarek. IIRC, he was sort of the Snow, and you know me :) Zarek's more of a Coin to me than a Snow :) But I might give it a try. Hopefully!
You are definitely welcome to stay here for the VIA race, if you want. :)
I'm jealous of your levels of ambition and fitness. My joints made it clear to me that my half-marathon days are over. And I've had a really terrible time getting myself through even maintenance runs lately. I'm just hating it - I don't know if it's the treadmill or what, but just ... ugh. I skipped today's 6-7 mile "long" run, for instance - I was just exhausted and Two was being a pest, and I SO wasn't in the mood. But of course I feel guilty, now, too. But I'm really not keen on dodging constant ice and snow on the edge of the roads, either, so, until it warms up a little bit, treadmill it is. I wish there was something else I enjoyed doing.
I probably won't stay there for the VIA race because Howard's riding a century out in Gettysburg on Saturday and I wouldn't get up to Allentown until super late, but maybe we could do lunch after or something? It's been ages since we've seen each other!
And I know what you mean- the roads are horrendous and treadmills suck. I actually had a round of "stomach bug or post-run ickiness?" today, which was just really fun to deal with. (Dinner settled it when I ate and my stomach felt better.) But while sometimes running can make you feel great, sometimes it just makes you feel miserable. Maybe you do need a break? I hope you do figure out something that works for you though!!!!
Well, just know you're welcome (even late) if you don't want to have to get up even earlier to make the race on time in the morning. At any rate, we can definitely take you with us at the finish line, and get you back to your car! (Race is point to point.) Lunch afterwards would be great, too. Been ages!
I hope the bug passed quickly, with no further issues.
I would read the hell out of that fic. I haven't watched Agent Carter yet, but I've heard great things about it (I'm not that into tumblr, so the diversity criticism hasn't got onto my radar yet). Maybe I'll have to check it out.

But seriously... This is a great list of races to think about!
I am trying to get my ass into gear for Big Sur. Boooo it sucks right now. I can't even think about summer/fall.
I think doing the Spartan Race with Toby sounds awesome!
Hope to see you out there soon!
And I would love to see a BSG/Hunger Games xover from you. One that I really liked was Children of Gods. Do it!!!!

Agent Carter is pretty awesome. I'm not much into superheroes, but I really have been liking this a lot.
