-Blood-test came back on Xena and she's perfectly healthy--so her losing a pound wasn't a sign of any sort of thyroid issue.

-My speakers have begun working again just as suddenly as they died. In their place my cordless headphones have died. ...Wut.

Glad Xena has a clean bill of health.

Man, kids at the zoo. I don't mind kids in the vast, vast majority of places (libraries, movies, malls, etc...), but for some reason they drive me batty at zoos...and museums. Grr, arrgh.

I love the '...best thing I never knew I needed' Princess and the Frog banner.

We are too. Though we're damned if we know how she lost any weight. In typical cat fashion, all she does is eat and sleep.

I think it's because they just... well, you'll literally get shoved all over the place by kids half your size as they try to get to exhibits. And what's really galling is that the parents don't do a damn thing about it. It's honestly the parents that get me more angry.

I actually prefer dogs to cats. However, I leave the professional opinions to Pratc-er, I mean Death.
Now your cat's outta the vet, an' could proceed to bringing itself back to oval-shaped gluttony (my own Maltese dog is really, really fat).

I trade ya but mine not a rat terrier. She is a chiwawa in disguise. Your cat sounds very sweet. I bet it's spoiled.
