I hope you all had a loooovely Thanksgiving and are enjoying your leftovers/shopping. Me, I'll be waiting until good old Cyber Monday to get any shopping done as I'm far to scared of the mobs to venture after the deals today. Thanksgiving was surprisingly successful given that we had a last-minute addition to the guest list. (A new friend who had no family in the area.) Happily, it was a fifteen-pound bird and several guests brought their own dishes, so there was more than enough to go around.

I've started seeing Black Friday as a challenge, and my favorite electronics superstore (Fry's) had a number of deals where the final cost was the price of a postage stamp for the rebate. (Oh, yeah, I'm supposed to shop for other people too, aren't I . . .) But I am *not* going to hit the stores at midnight.

Good hunting on-line tomorrow!

I heard some lady pepper sprayed other customers to get an Xbox o.O

^^; Unfortunately I lazily failed to shop. Oh well. Hope I get to it soon since I don't want to deal with last minute stuff.

A slightly unsettling realization: the Wal-Mart where the pepper-spray incident happened is about a mile north of my house, and that would be the one I would go to if were to shop at Wal-Mart. Happily, I shop there as little as possible.

Oh lol, that pepper spray incident even made it to our headlines!!
There was also some story about a girl getting injured in the crowd..

Is it always like this or is this year somehow special?

Egg nog is also a perfectly acceptable breakfast food. ^_~
