The data collected so far is as follows. Within the scope of all the fanfiction I have written so far involving Xellos (Summer Nights oneshots counting as individual stories) we can make certain distinctions that may function as indications for future fanfiction to predict Xellos's success rate... by which, of course, I mean his success rate at ( Read more... )

I may or may not have sputtered my drink.

But that's a good thing! (the lengths Xellos has to go to, not my sputtering of drink) It shows you're a good writer and don't make Filia randomly take her clothes off at the slightest invitation. Xellos has to work for it, as he well should!

Interesting . . . "Diary of a Dragon" is going to be a long fanfic, but since it follows Slayers Try, Xellos will not be successful. Unless there's an epilogue.

And that "Dragons of Yore" icon is great!

He probably won't be--but I haven't decided exactly where the diary is going to stop, so it's not impossible.

By this logic:

As the word length of any X/F Slayers fanfiction increases, the probably of Xellos scoring approaches one.
