Awww . . . you went with the John Carpenter version instead of the Christian Nyby / Howard Hawks version! Well, I'm sure it's still well worth a read.

I had to go with what my library had, which honestly wasn't much for horror movies, I'm afraid.

Oh by the way, how did you like The Thing? I saw in that movies when I was little! It's never gotten all that great of reviews but I thought it was pretty decent.

I enjoyed it. The effects were pretty darn neat and I can see that it's definitely had an impact on horror.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Did you ever see the original The Thing? I think there's a really old version.
